Welcome to my site. In today’s growing media and electronic-based communication,
I find it more progressive to have a website as a platform to exchange information and
network with others. Presently, the primary goals of this site will be to allow others
to gain some insight as to who I am, what my goals are as well as present family and
friends with an easily-accessible way to keep up with me, as I may not always be directly
available.
Science and benevolence have been my second love for a long time (in case you’re wondering, family is the first)
and as such, my passions have often revolved around these two things, as has my time. It is evident that science is
embedded in every aspect of what we do, the technology we use, the fabric of our clothes, our own physical make-up,
as well as the air we breathe, etc…It is however crucial that we continue to allow it to proliferate creatively, as well
as encourage others to do the same. I foresee this happening in at least two ways:
- Promotion: It is essential to continue to publicize the role of science in our everyday life such that there isn’t
a disconnect between the scientific community and the so-called general public. This would also help re-affirm trust! - Education: It has become critical to reform our educational system such that it births globally-minded, cutting-edge and well-trained
scientists and invididuals.
One of my goals with this website is also to set up a platform for people with similar ideas to link up!
I think science is very dynamic, and if we can help younger people connect to the science, and allow the young
minds to do the same, then we will be heading in the right direction!
